I really do love being an Independent Celebrant and I am full of gratitude for the beautiful part of the country in which I reside. The East Coast is beautiful. I mean just look of this picture of my local beach in Lowestoft.

What a great place to have a wedding, vow renewal, naming ceremony or a memorial. Yes, it may sometimes be a little chilly, but we do get a lot of sun.

I adore having a job where love is at the heart of everything I do. Whatever the ceremony there is love, family, friends, laughter and sometime tears, and it is all good.

The joy of using Beautifully Bespoke Ceremonies is that I can design a ceremony that has you and your family at the centre. To enable this to happen I listen to what you are saying and support your hopes, dreams, and aspirations and this really is an honour.

I mean - who else gets to go to work and listen to other people’s inspirational life stories. It truly is a great way to connect and this is what gets me up in the morning.

I also enjoy doing the research and find myself falling down all sorts of amazing rabbit holes, just like Alice in Wonderland, looking for new mini ceremonies, poetry, readings and music. Truly, I can never say I am bored.

So, on the 3rd October 2021 I will be off to do my first Wedding Fair, to spread the word about the joy of working with an Independent Celebrant. It is being held at the Victoria Hotel, Kirkley Cliff, Lowestoft 11am -3pm and I hear that there will be prosecco and food.

The event is free to attend. For further details please go to
